Comcept Software by COMCEPT is a specialist application developed specifically for optical practices - for small independent opticians as well as larger businesses. It covers all typical workflows: from lens price determination and lens orders, POS system and stock statistics through to contact lens fitting and optometric data capture.
SF6 is the standard format for lens price lists in the eyewear industry. Almost all major lens suppliers provide their price lists in this format. Comcept Software imports SF6 files completely, links them with suppliers and makes lens prices immediately available during sales - including individually configurable pricing formulas.
LC7 is the successor to the SF6 format and a modern industry standard in the eyewear sector. Comcept Software supports working with LC7 data through an integrated LC7 editor. LC7 data can be read, edited and transferred directly into order management - without any media discontinuity.
Lens orders in Comcept Software are collected in the dedicated "Lens Orders" module - not triggered directly from the individual job. Orders are submitted to the supplier digitally in the format required by the respective supplier. Order status is visible at any time: open, ordered, delivered or reordered.
Yes. Comcept Software supports direct integration with frame tracer devices. Frame data and measurements are automatically transferred from the tracer into the active order. This eliminates manual data entry and reduces errors in the ordering process.
The demo version runs with sample data and can be used extensively for 90 days. You can explore all main areas: lens price lists, order entry, POS system, customer management, frame inventory, reports and more. Real lens orders are not possible in the demo - but the entire ordering process can be tested. Installation is via a ZIP file locally on your Windows PC.
